Our recent successes in the pool!

Cheshire County Masters Championships 2022

Saturday 16th July 2022

Satellites Masters squad enjoyed a successful evening competing at Stockport Grand Central pool in the annual Cheshire County Masters Championships 2022.  Our swimmers led by Coach Samm Lewis were competing across multiple age groups from (17 – 24yrs) through to (65 – 69yrs) against squads from Biddulph, Trafford Metro, Preston, Winsford and Nantwich amongst others.

A number of personal bests and season bests were produced by our squad who came away with the following individual medals:

Winsford Summer Development Meet 2022

Saturday 25th June 2022

Satellites were in action today at the Winsford Lifestyle Centre Pool led by Head coach Ben Cleaveley and assisted by coach Zenia Frost and team manager Mark Edwards.  Our swimmers ranging in age from 9yrs through to 16yrs were competing against teams from Alsager, Crewe, City of Chester, Sandbach, Knutsford, Poynton and of course Winsford.  

Satellites produced a fantastic display with lots of personal bests and collected a bumper number of medals and placed finishes.  In particular Anna Fenwick and Grace Edwards dominated the 13yr and 14yr ladies category respectively each collecting  a superb 7 gold medals.

From a total of 188 swims, Satellites achieved 88 medals as follows:

  1. Gold  29
  2. Silver 30
  3. Bronze 29

There were also,  32, fourth place, 21, fifth place and 20, sixth place finishes.

A great effort well done to all who took part and thanks to Winsford ASC for putting on a very enjoyable event!
